HI, I'MÂ ARIA!
Â
I’m a freelance lighting programmer and educator helping others learn the grandMA3 with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
MY STORY
I started running lights at church when I was 13 and quickly fell in love with the way lighting combined creativity, logic, and problem solving. That early curiosity grew into a full career path, leading me to study lighting design, intern with ACT in Los Angeles, and eventually spending five years doing MA tech support.
Â
During those years, I learned the console by teaching it, troubleshooting it, and answering question after question. Today, I work as a freelance lighting programmer and create courses to help others build the same kind of depth, confidence, and understanding.
WHY DO I TEACH?
I teach because I know how overwhelming the grandMA3 can feel when you are trying to learn it alone. There are so many tools, workflows, and ways to approach the same problem, and it can be hard to know where to start.
Â
My goal is to make the learning process feel clear, practical, and approachable. I want to help programmers understand not just what buttons to press, but how to think through the system, build better workflows, and trust themselves and the consoin the process.
MY VALUES
Growth is the foundation.
I believe every programmer is capable of expanding their skills and deepening their understanding.
Â
Efficiency matters because programming is not just about getting to the end result. It is about building clean, repeatable workflows, staying organized, and make decisions under pressure.
Â
Courage allows us to step into new things before feeling ready. If you are learning the software for the first time, taking on a bigger show, or changing the way you program, growth requires courage.
